For a small town, Floyd has so much to offer in the way of locally handmade arts and crafts. St. Pierre Gallery located inside The Station in downtown Floyd is one of the many galleries offering some of the area’s most unique handcrafted items. With warmly colored orange walls, this gallery is quite easy to find.

32 local artists fill the gallery space. There is a great variety of items with price ranges to meet every budget. The fine furnishings of owner Bill St. Pierre/St. Pierre Woodworking are complimented by wood turned bowls, stained glass candle holders and cutting boards of all sizes. St. Pierre Gallery also features local jewelry artists, local potters, fabric art, soy candles, soaps and CD’s. The walls are adorned with oil and acrylic paintings, handmade hats, photography, pencil and ink drawings and much more.

St. Pierre Gallery Floyd VA

St. Pierre Gallery is artist run, so while visiting you have the opportunity to meet some of the creators of the work you are seeing. It’s a great place to ask questions about the handmade items, the process, the materials and even the lifestyle of the artisans. The gallery is a warm and inviting place, a place where you are encouraged to take your time in and experience the wonderful creations this beautiful little town of ours has to offer.
